Introducción

Esta tutorial le permitirá a los que cuando deseen utilizar su CD-Key no le funcione por diferentes motivos, que no la tome como origen o le diga que ya esta siendo usada, es decir, alguien la está utilizando. En cualquier caso hay un pequeño truco con el que podremos jugar tres personas con una sola CD-Key. Y los pasos son muy simples.

Una de las dos posibilidades es mediante el comando de Windows regedit, y la otra con un pequeño programa llamado HL CD-Key:

"regedit"

Este es el primero de los métodos que vamos a usar para cambiar la CD-Key, para ello vamos a Inicio/Ejecutar... y en la ventana que nos aparece introducimos el comando regedit y pulsamos Aceptar

A continuación nos aparecerá una nueva ventana, esta vez más grande, en la que a primera vista parece un lío con tanto nombre. Aquí simplemente hay que buscar el directorio exacto de donde se encuentra el archivo donde introduciremos la nueva CD-Key, por lo que iremos entrando poco a poco en el siguiente directorio: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Valve/Half-Life/Settings. En este directorio se encuentra un archivo llamado Key.

Hacemos doble click en él y obtendremos una nueva ventana como la que muestra la Figura 3, y en la que introduciremos la nueva CD-Key deseada. Pulsaremos en Aceptar y cerraremos el registro. Así de fácil.

Metodo 2

HL CD-Key

Otro de los métodos para cambiar la CD-Key y más rápido que el anterior es con el HL CD-Key, que puedes descargar desde Aca. Para empezar debes descomprimir el .zip en cualquier carpeta. Obtendremos dos nuevos archivos:

• HlCDKey.exe
• CDKEYLst.txt

Primero lo que haremos será editar el CDKEYLst.txt con el notepad e iremos introduciendo todas las CD-Keys, tantas como queramos.

¡ATENCIÓN!: Las Cd-Keys Introdúcelas sin Guiones.

Una vez introducidas todas las CD-Keys deseadas guardamos y lo cerramos. Ahora ejecutamos el HlCDKey.exe, él mismo nos mostrará la clave que tenemos actualmente, en la pestaña "Current". Entonces para cambiar la CD-Key por cualquiera de las que pusimos anteriormente en el CDKEYLst.txt, basta con desplegar la pestaña "Available" y elegir la que queramos. Cliqueamos sobre Change y listo.

¡ATENCIÓN!: UN CONSEJO ES QUE TEN CUIDADO CON TODAS LAS CLAVES QUE INTRODUCES, YA QUE SI ALGUIEN TIENE ACCESO AL DIRECTORIO DONDE SE ENCUENTRA EL ARCHIVO CON TODAS LAS CD-KEYS, PODRÍA VERLAS. ES MUY ÚTIL EL HL CD-KEY SOBRE TODO PARA LOS CYBERS, PERO PARA ELLO ES ACONSEJABLE QUE PROTEJAN CON ALGÚN PASSWORD LA UNIDAD DONDE TENGAN DICHO ARCHIVO.

Metodo 3

Cómo pueden jugar tres persona a la vez con una misma CD-Key

Intentaremos hacer funcionar esta utilidad, ya que en todos los casos no funciona. WON tiene tres servidores diferentes para la identificación de las CD-Keys, por lo tanto, en teoría si dos o tres personas tienen la misma CD-key, por lógica si cada uno se identifica en uno de los servidores de WON, podrían jugar con la misma clave. Ahora, lo que hay que hacer es elegir un servidor u otro, el que queramos, muy fácil.

Nos vamos al directorio donde tenemos el Half-Life instalado:

...SIERRA/Hal-Life/valve

Nos metemos dentro del directorio citado y encontramos un archivo llamado woncomm.lst, simplemente lo editamos con el notepad. Entonces nos encontramos con semejantes números como los siguientes:

  No te preocupes, solamente nos concentramos en los siguiente:

Estas tres IP's se corresponden con los tres servidores dichos anteriormente. Primero nos identifica con uno, si por cualquier razón fallara uno, lo intentaría con otro, y así sucesivamente.

ATENCIÓN!: TE RECOMIENDO QUE HAGAS UNA COPIA DE SEGURIDAD DEL WONCOMM.LST POR LAS DUDAS.

Lo que tienes que hacer es eliminar dos de los tres servidores que hay, borra los dos que quieras y deja uno solamente, de aquí que hagas la copia de seguridad. Quedaría de la siguiente forma.

NOTA: Recuerden que este tercer punto, no lo hemos probado para ver si era cierto o no, lo que si es que tiene lógica, pero repito, no se con certeza si funciona al 100%.
